Short version: your photos stay on your device unless you press an AI button.
Photos
Opening a photo, the sliders, Auto fix, upscaling, resizing, the instant erase and saving all run in your browser with JavaScript. The photo is not uploaded to us.
When you press an AI button (AI enhance, AI unblur, AI restore, Colourise, AI denoise, AI detail pass, AI clean-up, or "What's wrong with this photo?"), a resized copy of the photo (and, for clean-up, your brush marks) is sent through Vercel AI Gateway to the model provider (OpenAI or Google) to process that single request. We do not store the image or the result, and we do not use it for anything else. Providers process requests under their API terms, which exclude training on API data by default.
Stored in your browser
We remember your last slider values, brush size, upscale factor and resize format in your browser’s localStorage, so the tools open the way you left them. No photos are stored. This never leaves your device.
Analytics
We use Ahrefs Web Analytics to count page views. It is cookieless and does not collect personal data.
Rate limits
To keep AI passes free, the server counts AI requests per IP address in memory for one hour. The count is not written to disk or logged with your photo.
No accounts
There are no sign-ups, logins or databases on this site.
